Training

REQUIREMENTS

Must be at least 18 years old
Must pass criminal background check
Must be able to pay State License Fee to obtain State Guard Card after passing provided security training.
Have a high school diploma or equivalent
Have reliable transportation to and from work
Have reliable form of communication such as cell phone etc.
Be able to comprehend all policy and procedures at different sites

Some sites may require walking/standing for long periods of time
Some sites may require working in different weather conditions

Site Specifics to Address for Potential Applicants

Security guard trainees receive pre-assignment security training, post-assignment security training, and annual refresher training. After passing our pre-assignment training exam, guards are fingerprinted and licensed with a Washington State Guard Card.

Our training program consists of instruction in effective communications and good public relations, hi-risk scenarios and preventative measures, situational awareness and non-liability deescalation tactics, fire hazards and safety procedures, emergency protocol and patron safety, as well as risk management and asset protection.
